Our St. Michael’s Vision
St. Michael’s is like a tree: where through God’s light and deeply rooted Christian values, we grow and prosper. We shine with ambition in a happy, caring and safe Christian family.

St Michael’s CE Academy provides education in accordance with the principles and practices of the Church of England. Worship, religious education and spiritual development are at the heart of every aspect of our experience.
At St Michael's we are an inclusive, nurturing church school. Our priority is developing the whole child spiritually, emotionally, physically and academically to live the most rewarding life, and to know that in God's light, like a tree, they will be supported and nourished so that they can always prosper and grow. Everyone will be deep rooted, like a tree and have a secure foundation and belonging in their environment. This will enable them to remain vibrant and alive even in difficult times and allow them the belief to be whoever they want to be within our community and beyond, knowing that Together everyone achieves more. We live this out through a focus on our core Christian values of respect, hope, responsibility, wisdom and resilience. Through these we encourage everyone to achieve their potential, develop their talents, celebrate their uniqueness and rejoice in their relationships with others.

We are committed to building the skills, knowledge and positive attitudes necessary to help all our pupils become responsible, respectful and tolerant citizens of the future. Through our shared aims, mutual respect and working together, we will believe in ourselves and develop as individuals who make a positive impact on each other and the world around us.
