Pupil PremiuM
The Pupil Premium is additional funding given to schools by the government to help close the gap between disadvantaged pupils and their peers. It is designed to ensure that every child, regardless of their background, has the same opportunities to succeed.
Schools receive this funding for children who:

Are currently eligible for free school meals (FSM)

Have been eligible for FSM at any point in the last six years

Are looked after children (in care) or have previously been in care

Have parents currently serving in the armed forces
How We Use Pupil Premium at st michaels
We carefully plan how this funding is spent to make the greatest impact. This may include:

Supporting access to enrichment activities, trips, and clubs
